Instagram's New 'Recommended' Section Will Keep You Scrolling
As if you don't already waste product spend enough time on Instagram, the Facebook-owned photo and video-sharing app has a new feature to keep you scrolling: recommended posts.
Every bit was first reported by TechCrunch, Instagram will now first adding recommended posts from people you don't follow to your main feed. Instagram earlier this month confirmed it was testing this feature, and now the social network is rolling information technology out broadly.

If you're not into the recommendations, you can temporarily hide Recommended for You posts, but there doesn't seem to be a way to disable the feature entirely. The alter comes later on Instagram before this month started letting users follow hashtags. When you visit a hashtag page like #applied science or #ces2018, for instance, merely tap the new "follow" button upwards top.
